Questions owners ask me before picking a care plan: which plan fits, what counts as an edit, how fast I respond and what happens if you leave. Plans are $39, $99 or $199 a month, month to month with one month's notice, and paying yearly gets you 2 months free.
Pick Hosting ($39 a month) if you're comfortable running WordPress updates yourself. Pick Care ($99) if you want updates, security scanning and backups handled, plus 30 minutes of edits a month. It's the plan most people choose. Pick Care Plus ($199) if you change things often and want 2 hours of edits, a next-business-day response and a quarterly speed and SEO check.
Changing text, swapping photos, updating your hours or a phone number. Those fit in your monthly edit time: 30 minutes on Care, 2 hours on Care Plus. New pages and new features aren't edits. I quote those upfront, and a new page is $250 to $450.
Uptime monitoring alerts me as soon as your site goes down. For everything else, Hosting and Care get a response within 2 business days, and Care Plus gets a next-business-day response. Small edit requests on Care are done within two business days.
Yes. Pay for a year and you get 2 months free, so Care comes to $990 a year instead of $1,188. Hosting works out to $390 a year and Care Plus to $1,990. Monthly billing is there if you'd rather not pay for a year at once.
What I updated, what I checked and anything I fixed that month, in plain language. It comes with Care and Care Plus. If something needs a decision from you, the report says so and I tell you what I'd do about it.
On Care and Care Plus, fixing it is included. Every update runs with a fresh backup first, and I check your key pages and forms afterward, so problems usually get caught early. If something does break, I fix it or restore the backup. On the Hosting plan you run updates yourself, so a fix is quoted separately.
Yes. Once the build is paid in full, the site and its content are yours, and cancelling a care plan doesn't change that. Hosting is part of the plan, so the site needs a new home when the plan ends. Plans need one month's notice, so tell me when you give notice and I'll explain what the move involves for your site.
You do. The $39 Hosting plan covers hosting, SSL, daily backups and uptime monitoring, but not WordPress, plugin or theme updates, security scanning or edits. It suits owners who are comfortable in WordPress. If you'd rather not touch updates, Care at $99 a month runs them weekly.
Yes, on every plan. Backups run daily, and on Care and Care Plus I take a fresh one before every update. On Care and Care Plus, if an update goes wrong or the site gets hacked, I restore a clean copy.
Not ongoing SEO work. Care Plus includes a quarterly speed and SEO health check, so problems get caught, but new content and link outreach are separate monthly SEO plans starting at $300 a month. Care keeps the site healthy. SEO is what helps it climb.
No. My care plans are for WordPress sites, and Wix and Squarespace handle hosting and updates themselves, the same way Shopify does. If you've outgrown your builder, I can move your site to WordPress, and then it can go on a plan.
