I’ve always been drawn to problem-solving and creating things that have an impact. My journey into UX design started unexpectedly during an Erasmus project where I worked with business, IT, and marketing students to develop an educational branding game. That was the first time I encountered design thinking, and it sparked something in me.

After earning my Master’s degree in International Business, I decided to fully commit to UX design, diving into two intensive bootcamps to master the skills and tools I needed. I fell in love with the process—understanding user needs, crafting intuitive experiences, and solving design challenges for clients. But something was missing.

Not all UX designs become reality. Many projects I worked on never made it past the design phase due to budget constraints, lack of experienced developers, or other limitations. I would hand off a project, and that was the end of it—I had no control over what happened next. That’s when I started exploring web design and WordPress development, and everything clicked.

With no-code and low-code tools, I could now take my UX designs from concept to execution. I wasn’t just designing wireframes—I was actually building the websites myself and launching them into the world. My work was no longer sitting in a file somewhere—it was being used by thousands of people across multiple industries.

This led me to SEO—because what’s the point of a great website if no one can find it? I wanted my creations to rank, grow, and reach their full potential, so I expanded my skills to include SEO strategies that help businesses stand out.

Today, I run Dat Design Lab, a one-man^+cat design studio where I combine UX, web development, and SEO to deliver complete digital solutions. I especially love working with businesses without an online presence, helping them bring their brand to life on the internet and watching them grow. Seeing my clients’ excitement as their business takes off online is what drives me to keep learning, improving, and creating.
